This Week's Quote

"When you look back on a lifetime and think of what has been given to the world by your presence, your fugitive presence, inevitably you think of your art, whatever it may be, as the gift you have made to the world in acknowledgement of the gift you have been given, which is the life itself...That work is not an expression of the desire for praise or recognition, or prizes, but the deepest manifestation of your gratiturde for the gift of life." - Stanley Kunitz

Happy New Year from Louis and Julie

I have just got access toyour blogg, at work. Woooo what a story, what an adventure. It is so fantastic how things change, sonmetimes for the better & sometimes not, but is all still a great life. You are so lucky to be able to pack up & do it all, how very, very brave but i have come to know, that is you Brenda. I just wish i could do that. I suppose mortgages & credit cards, etc makes sure that we don't just up & do what ever want to. It must be some subliminal way of not doing what we raelly want.

It is my resolve that this year I will become credit card free & have also put in place a plan (yes, that is correct, me a plan)to pay off the mortgage in at least 5 years. I don't want any real debt by the time I CAN retire, normal bills aside. I want to be able to go sailing on MY yacht, play golf, go motor racing, travel, dine out, go to theatre etc whenever...
For the time being, I'm land locked, but that will change.
Take care & all the very best.
Love Peter D
